Super friendly service and delicious food.It was my first time trying donairs and the lady kindly assisted me and explained everything I needed to know.Highly recommended.

Donair star is the best and they are moving just second store to west side of the current location. Moving From 622 12 street to ( 628 12 street newest ) in couple of months most likely before summer 2025. With bigger place and sitting area inside during cold weather. They always show love and no place for hatred

This store still remains 5 stars, and my absolute favourite donairs. ALTHOUGH - ordering online has turned into a 2 star rating because, they almost never add your extra toppings to your order.... This would be my 4th attempt to getting a correct order. And to me, these toppings make their donairs a little extra delicious. I hope soon they will pay attention better, as the prices are even more online than coming in person... Makes you really not want to order online.

The brothers that own Donaire make absolutely phenomenal food!!!Every day when I work construction in the area, probably 12 years ago, I would go there at least three or four times a week during lunch and it was always quick fresh and delicious… They make food for the working man it’s hot and it fills your belly for a day of work…Move on and I’m not a business owner myself and understand the importance of these reviews and telling people how amazing certain businesses are so thank you guys…. I was absolutely pumped to see that coming through Vancouver racing for a ferry. They were still open, and I got two of their best owners, and they even gave me a special discount.!!No tax for the holiday!!!Not all heroes wear capes and when you Try their food you’ll see what I mean. I highly recommend the super chicken lamb combo and just tell him make it the way they’d make it for themselves.!!!You guys rockNick ConvilleIsland, silver, and gold brokers CanadaYou made my night and I’ll be back for sure. Been coming here for well over a decade. They got the best donairs in New West and elsewhere, hands down, at an affordable price. Donair Star is a fixture in the 12th street community and one of my favorite places to go for lunch or a late night snack.

Honestly way beyond better than any other places like Donair Dude or even some other local donair spots, for 16.50 I got a large lamb donair with extra lamb, peace tea and a baklava and I’m super full (big eater). I couldn’t believe is so cheap and the donair so tasty, very compact and flavourful. Definitely my new donair place, so far the best I tried in New Westminster.

If you're a fan of Donairs, this place is an absolute must-visit! I am psyched to dine in at their new shop soon. The Donair itself is the best I’ve ever had—perfectly spiced, tender meat with the right balance of sauce, crisp veggies, and that soft, fresh pita that really ties everything together.

Our favourite Donair place in New West! We’ve been coming here for years and don’t plan on stopping :)
